Formerly U.S. Deputy Homeland Security Advisor to President Obama, Amy has extensive experience managing some of the most high-profile, diverse challenges at the highest levels of U.S. government. A proven strategist who is adept at building coalitions and communicating effectively to diverse stakeholders, she currently helps individuals and businesses to identify vulnerabilities in protecting their privacy and reputation; build systems to proactively manage a range of critical threats; and respond quickly to crisis, including data breaches, cyber-attacks, online privacy issues and hostile campaigns. Prior to joining the White House, Amy worked in several positions at the U.S. Department of Justice including as a senior official in the Criminal Division and as a federal prosecutor.
Amy’s specific expertise has helped clients at Schillings to navigate U.S. laws, regulations, and Congressional enquiries. Whether it is a result of travelling into or through the United States; buying U.S. businesses or other assets; or transacting business in U.S. Dollars, the United States Government can assert jurisdiction in ways that many individuals and companies do not fully realise. Additionally, Amy has advised clients on investigations and prosecutions by the U.S. Justice Department and can provide insights on US Sanctions policy.
