Christoph Bausewein

Christoph Bausewein (CIPT, CIPP/E) is a German licensed attorney and holds a PhD in privacy laws. As Assistant General Counsel, Data Protection & Policy at the US cybersecurity company CrowdStrike, his practice focuses particularly on current issues in data protection, AI and cybersecurity. Against this background, Christoph has been appointed to the Expert Council for New Technologies by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB). Additionally, he is a co-author of the TeleTrust/ENISA guidance on the state of the art in technology and a board member of the Professional Association of Data Protection Officers of Germany (BvD) e.V.
