Edward ‘Ed’ Starkie is a senior vice president in the Cyber Risk practice, based in London. Ed leverages more than 7 years of cyber experience in assisting critical national infrastructure organizations, multi-nationals and others improve their cyber resilience. At Kroll he is engaged in the board level advisory programs, developing Kroll’s cyber security M&A services for EMEA, and acting as a Virtual CISO. Ed is also regularly involved in data protection, GDPR and HIPAA assessments.
Prior to joining Kroll, Ed served as a cyber security consultant for M&A activity at PWC. Before that, he held the title of Information Security Officer for a FTSE 100 manufacturing organization.
Ed received a Masters degree in international law from the University of Winchester and a Bachelors degree in Law from the University of Bristol. He also holds an ISO27001 Lead Implementor qualification, Certificate in Information Security Management Principles (CISMP) and multiple vendor specific certifications.
