John LaBella

John LaBella is a Director at AlixPartners. He is a CPA with 20 years of financial advisory experience in matters related to financial reporting and disclosure, compliance, the applicability of GAAP and addressing finance and accounting matters for organizations in transition or distress. He has directed public companies through the process of restating previously filed financial reports, and has significant experience in addressing the related audit, regulatory and litigation issues. John has led the financial reporting and accounting functions of public and private companies in technology, consumer products and other industries.

John has directed numerous forensic investigations related to allegations of financial accounting and reporting fraud, FCPA violations, embezzlement and other matters, and he has led the development of remedial accounting and internal control policies and procedures. He has testified as an expert and advised on litigation and valuation matters which activities have included the assessment of liability, determination of damages and the reconstruction of complex financial records.
