Julia Buckingham

Julia Buckingham leads the EMEA Intelligence Consulting Team for LevelBlue. Julia has eight years' experience in threat intelligence and incident response, identifying, profiling and monitoring threat groups and their activity. Julia frequently advises executive teams about the cyber threat landscape, and M&A deal teams about target asset security posture. Together with LevelBlue’s Security Testing team, she has led development of the company’s threat-led penetration testing capability.

Julia profiles threats to sectors ranging from finance and professional services to healthcare and technology, from threat actors including state-sponsored groups, transnational organised criminals and lone wolves.

Julia speaks French, German and Spanish. She is a CREST Registered Threat Intelligence Analyst and holds accreditations from the Global Information Assurance Certification body (GIAC) and Chartered Management Institute. She has spoken at a number of industry conferences, including CRESTCon Europe, FS-ISAC Europe and MML’s CFO Forum. She began her career at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Vienna.
