Kate Zoladz has been the Regional Director for the Los Angeles Regional Office (LARO) of the SEC since December 2023. She joined the SEC in 2010 and was promoted to Assistant Regional Director in the Asset Management Unit in 2017 and to co-Associate Regional Director for the LARO Enforcement program in 2019. Prior to joining the Commission, she worked at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP in New York and California and clerked for the Honorable Edward R. Becker of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Kate earned her bachelor's degree from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, and her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
