Sarah Nilson

Sarah Nilson is an Assistant Regional Director in the SEC’s Division of Enforcement based out of the Los Angeles Regional Office.  She supervises investigations handled by the Division’s Asset Management Unit, a national specialized unit that focuses on misconduct by investment advisers, investment companies, and private funds.  Ms. Nilson has been with the Commission since 2013.  Prior to that time, she worked at the Washington D.C. offices of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP.  She earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, and a B.A. from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
