Arsen Ablaev is Senior Counsel in the Cyber Unit of the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”). He works out of the Chicago Regional Office and leads investigations and litigates cases across the country to enforce federal securities laws with a focus on cybersecurity and technology. Prior to joining the SEC, Mr. Ablaev was a litigation and government enforcement attorney at Ropes & Gray LLP and Sidley Austin LLP. Mr. Ablaev received his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2010 and served as a law clerk for Chief Justice Recktenwald of the Hawai`i Supreme Court.
